Each student interested in applying for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov , FAFSA on the Web includes built in edits to help detect and correct errors before submitting. It also contains skip logic to allow the student and/or parents to skip unnecessary questions. You also have the ability to check your application status or make corrections online.

Step 1:
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completely and submit it over the Internet. Detailed instructions are provided at the website. You may request a PIN prior to submitting your FAFSA at http://www.pin.ed.gov or while you are completing your FAFSA and one will be assigned in real time. If parent income and household information is required on your FAFSA, your parent must also have a separate PIN.

Complete and turn in Admissions papers for the college. Also, have your high school send VC an official high school transcript. If you have a G.E.D., bring in your certificate instead.

If you have been to another college and/or trade school, have all such schools send an official academic transcript to VC.

After receiving your Student Aid Report, review it and notify us if corrections are necessary.

Step 3:
If you have been selected for verification, or if we need additional documentation, we will mail you paperwork which must be completed and/or request the necessary information.
