What is Work Study?
The work study program provides on campus jobs for eligible students.

What types of jobs are there?
Most openings are for typists, office aides and lab assistants. Job openings will be
posted in the financial aid office.

How many hours a week will I work?
The number of hours work study students are allowed to work per week varies. The
average is 15 hours per week.

How much money does it pay?
Work study positions pay the prevailing minimum wage.
|
Who is eligible?
Students with demonstrated financial need enrolled at least half-time.

How do I apply for a work study job?
When completing the Free Application for Student Aid,
indicate that you are interested in work-study. In addition,
you must complete an Application for Work-study Employment.
This form is available in the Financial Aid Office.

When is the Financial Aid office open?
Regular office hours are: 8:00 a.m.
-- 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m., Friday.
Summer hours are 7:45 a.m. -- 5:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday and
Closed on Friday.
