Procedure for Obtaining
Vernon College E-mail Accounts

All permanent Vernon College employees who have access to the internet are eligible to use VC's e-mail and to have their own e-mail account. Adjunct instructors are given e-mail upon request of the Dean who hired them.

To obtain a VC e-mail account follow these steps:

  1. Print a copy of the Responsible Faculty and Staff Use of VC'S Telecommunications Resources form. It is available on-line. You can also get a copy from the Information Technology or Human Resources offices.
  2. Read the form. If you have questions, call Information Technology at ext. 2300.
  3. Sign the form and send it to the Director of Information Technology on the Vernon campus.
  4. After the signed form is received, an account will be created for you and you will be notified when your e-mail is ready to use.
