Law Enforcement Academy
| The Vernon College Law Enforcement Academy prepares students to take the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education state certification examination. After passing the exam and upon employment with a law enforcement agency, persons are eligible to become licensed peace officers in Texas. The Basic Peace Officer Certification program begins August 28, 2006 and ends May 8, 2007 . The Admissions Packet contains the necessary forms and information for admittance to the next Basic Peace Officer Academy. An Admission Packet is available at this web site or at the Continuing Education Offices in Vernon and Wichita Falls. |
