Title searches allow you to find an item by means of words or phrases that name the item or works
contained in an item.
Search Tip: Consider alternate forms of title words:
- spelling variations (theater or theatre)
- word variations (email or e-mail)
- one word or two (healthcare or health care)
- initials, acronyms, abbreviations (U.S. or US or United States)
- numbers (100 or one hundred)

If you know the title, click on Browse the Catalog, select "Titles" in the "Browse"
listbox, type in your term(s), and click on "Search". Omit initial articles (a, an, the, das, el, la).
An alphabetical listing of titles in the catalog is displayed, beginning with the title most closely
matching your search term:

If you cannot recall the first word(s) in the title, click on Search the Catalog, select "Titles" in
the "Find" listbox, choose the search option "contain", type in your term(s), and click on "Search". Only
those headings with data matching every term you enter will be retrieved.
|
Search Tip: To search for adjacent terms in a fixed sequence, enclose them in quotes. In the example
below, only the fifth item would be retrieved if the search terms were placed in quotes.
