Accounting Program
The primary objective of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting is to prepare an individual to enter the workforce or to improve the skills of the currently employed individual. However, through articulation agreements, most of the hours earned in Vernon College's Associate of Applied Science Degree will transfer into MSU's Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science Degree or into Wayland Baptist University's Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education Degree. The Accounting Program, which has been in effect since 1981, has many successful graduates who now hold responsible accounting positions.
