Hello and welcome to Vernon College (VC) located in Vernon, Texas. Vernon is located in north-central Texas, approximately 50 miles west of Wichita Falls, Texas. Our junior / community college has 1,800 students enrolled on 4 major campuses. The main campus is located in Vernon and the three remaining campuses are located in Wichita Falls. In addition to VC, Vernon is best known for being the home of The W. T. Waggoner Estate, the largest ranch in the United States under 1 fence (some 535,000 acres) and the winningest Class AAA football team in Texas during the 1990's.
