Setting the Home Page in Internet Explorer
for vernoncollege.edu
Because the VC Home Page is used to post announcements, all Vernon College computers should display the VC Home Page when Internet Explorer is started. Your computer is probably set to display http://www.vrjc.cc.tx.us . That is exactly the same page as http://www.vernoncollege.edu. The pages will always be identical. However, in order to see the new name in the location box of your browser window, you must make a minor change.

There are 3 easy steps and you should all complete them without any assistance. If you have problems, contact Information Technology ext. 2300.

Before you begin, you should either print these instructions or open a second browser window. Use one window to view the instructions and the second window to make your configuration changes.
