Academic & Workforce Divisions Instructional areas of VC are organized into divisions, i.e. Math and Science, Health and Human Service, etc. This page serves as an entry point to information regarding each division at Vernon College.
Distance Learning Distance learning enables students who are geographically remote from Vernon College to take classes without traveling to a VC campus. Students who live close to a campus but are unable to fit on-campus classes into their schedules also benefit from VC's distance learning program. PASS Center The PASS Center provides VC students with tutoring for most programs and disciplines offered by the college. Other services are also available. See the PASS Center web pages for details about the PASS Centers at the Vernon Campus, Century City and Sheppard
Library Vernon College has an excellent library that is open to students and to the community. In addition to books, periodicals, and reference materials, the library has public computers available for Internet research. The Library web pages include general information regarding policies, hours of operation, and interlibrary loan. A link to the catalog and links to a variety of online databases are also included.
Testing Center The Vernon College testing centers, located in Vernon and Wichita Falls, offer Accuplacer, GED, CLEP, NET and NLN tests.
Prometric Tests The Prometric testing center offers comprehensive computer-based testing and assessment services to students and the general public.
