Vernon College owns and operates two bookstores for the convenience of the student body. One bookstore is located on the Vernon campus and the other is located in the Century City Center in Wichita Falls. The bookstore at the Century City Center serves all VC classes taught in Wichita Falls, including classes at the Sheppard Learning Center and the Skills Training Center. Required textbooks and other instructional materials are available, as well as appropriate college-type variety items and gifts.

Textbook Return Policy

1. Books may be returned only if:
   • Your class was cancelled or
   • You withdrew from class
2. To receive a refund, you must furnish us:
   • Your Bookstore receipt
3. New books must be in resaleable condition:
   • No marks inside
   • No marks outside
   • Books in a shrink wrapped set must still be in shrink wrap.
4. Books must be returned within two weeks of the first day of class
5. The refund will be mailed to you in approximately 4-6 weeks from the Business Office.
6. Under NO circumstances will a cash refund be made.

Textbook Buybacks

Buybacks are conducted at the end of the Fall, Spring and Summer II semesters during the time of final examinations. Two weeks prior to buyback, the specific date and time will be posted at the Bookstore. Used books must be in saleable condition.
