Resources Are Available!

Our goal is to successfully connect VC students and prospective students with the necessary resources at Vernon College and in their communities to help them enroll and stay in classes until the completion of their chosen course of studies.

The New Beginnings program is currently accepting applications for the spring semester.   We have funding available for textbooks through the Lending Library, child care while the student attends class/clinical and gas reimbursement.  Applications are available at vernoncollege.edu/new-beginnings.

Do you know students who are in need of assistance (with utilities, housing, childcare, educational expenses, tutoring, etc.) to help them stay in classes and be successful?  If so, please refer them to the Resource Information Request Form located at vernoncollege.edu/Additional-Resources.   The individual will then be contacted with resource information about agencies that may be able to provide the assistance that they need.
