Fall 2022 Academic Calendar

Take the first step to touch lives and invest in the future of Vernon College and its students through scholarships. An endowed scholarship can be established by a gift or cash, life insurance, charitable gift annuity, and/or a bequest. The Vernon College Foundation will work with you to create a scholarship fund that will benefit students for many generations to come.

An endowed scholarship is a gift of $10,000 or more that is given to the foundation and is then placed in the scholarship fund in perpetuity. This gift may be made all at one time or started with an initial investment of $1,000 and the balance completed over a set period of time. These scholarships allow donors to designate a name in memory of someone or to honor a person, group or company. Each year, a percentage of the fund’s total annual earnings is reinvested in the fund, allowing it to grow over time and generate increased income for the future.

All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Vernon College Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
