Step 4. Activate your VC student email account.
We will correspond with you via your VC student email account. Visit www.vernoncollege.edu for instructions on activating your account.
Step 5. Respond to document requests.
The financial aid office may request additional documents needed to complete the aid application process. Your application will not be processed until you submit the requested document(s). Do not email tax returns or any other personally identifiable information to our office unless the email is encrypted and password protected (with the password in a separate email.) If your are unable to do this, please bring your documents to our office or mail them thru the U.S. Postal Service. The student is responsible for ensuring the files are secure and providing the retrieval method to the financial aid staff. Students electing to submit supporting documentation electronically are still required to meet the posted submission deadlines. The financial aid office will not be held responsible for lost files, non-retrievable files, or incorrect passwords for files.
Step 6. Await notification
When the financial aid office has finished processing your application, your financial aid offer (if eligible) will be sent to your VC student email account. Financial Aid information is also available thru Campus Connect.
Step 7. Re-apply.
Re-application for financial aid is required each award year (Fall thru Summer).
