National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
NREMT exams are given Thursdays on the Vernon Campus and Mondays, Tuesday, and Wednesdays on the Wichita Falls Campus. You must be approved by NREMT by completing the appropriate coursework and clinical work to schedule the exam. To register for the exam you must log-in to your National Registry account. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. Next, you will need to create a new application and pay the application fee. You will then verify that you have been approved to test and be presented with your "ATT letter." After all of this has been completed, you will then contact Pearson Vue to schedule your exam. You may do this through their website or by calling 1-866-673-6896. For more information, visit the NREMT website or contact your program coordinator.
The Wichita Falls Testing Center is located just inside the front door of the main (northwest) entrance of the Century City location. The Vernon Campus Testing Center is located in the Wright Library building. The entrance is an exterior door on the side between the Osborne Administration building and the Wright Library. It is marked "testing." For the NREMT exam, you will need to bring two forms of ID. One will need a photo and signature, and the other will need a signature (Social Security Card, signed debit card, License to Carry, etc).
